Bio

Ross Sheehan is an artist, illustrator, and educator investigating relations between psychogeography, uncanny spaces and art. He currently lives and works in Aptos, California.

Ross has exhibited at venues such as Local Project in Queens NY, SOMArts Cultural Center in San Francisco, Art Ark Gallery in San Jose, Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, Bennington Museum, Burlington City Arts (BCA), Southern Vermont Arts Center (SVAC), and International Print Center New York (IPCNY). He studied painting and art history in Florence, Italy, received his BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University, and his MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Ross is a member of the California Society of Printmakers. His work has been exhibited and collected internationally.

In 2021, Ross founded the School of Psychogeographic Arts in Vergennes, Vermont, where he taught adult and youth art and urban exploration classes out of his studio. In February 2025, Ross relocated to Aptos, California, and opened the School of Psychogeographic Arts in his studio in the Seascape Village in Aptos.
